If you’re a carnivore, you’ve got to get the Carne Asada. If you don’t, you’ll miss out on one of the most flavorful and tender skirt steaks out there. Unpopular opinion here, but I’d take this cut of marinaded perfection over the ones at most steak houses in DFW. You’ll spend a quarter of the price and leave feeling for times as satisfied. The sides, service, and ambiance are also top tier.
They have a lovely patio. Our sever was very sweet and brought us a sample of mole sauces which were very tasty. The vegetable enchiladas were delicious. The Blanco enchiladas were bland. Gluten free options are available. Meals come with plain white rice and black beans They have happy hour M-F from 4-6 with 5 margaritas and discounts on wine and beer.
I did not like the meal I chose (brisket enchiladas surprisingly) but I did like everything everyone else got at my table and got a bite of everything. Good presentation on the food. The brisket was cooked very nicely and just falls apart but it was the sweet sauce that made it uninteresting. Photos (left to right): brisket enchiladas, carne asada, quesadilla. The carne asada was so good especially when you ask for medium, the meat falls apart so nicely. Avocado margaritas were pretty good and I definitely recommend trying them.
My husband and I were completely blown away by this place. It even looks so fabulous, we thought it would be dress code and/or reservation only but they are not. I consider their pricing to be quite affordable particularly when compared to the quality of their food, it is like high class dining with the pricing of a middle class restaurant! Service and staff were professional and wonderful and the food tastes absolutely delicious, I've never tasted anything like it. I highly recommend the Chochinita Pibil, I almost ate all of the meat without using any of my tortillas because after one bite you just don't want to stop eating it! I'm eating my leftovers as I write this review and it still tastes just as delicious as at the restaurant. We will definitely be coming often!
The Pork Chop dish very high quality. Ceviche was done extremely well. Was fun sitting near the glass windows watching the chefs perform.
If you are looking to impress a first date or treat your wife to a night out, this is the place. Candle light, servers on top of things, well seasoned food, the ambiance is super relaxed. Ceviche appetizer is a must, looks and tasted great. Enchiladas Pollo poblano were flavorful but the tortilla is not soft as an enchillada should, I had to use a knife to cut into it, so I do not recommend that platesorry Meso Maya
Services was fantastic, food was equally fantastic. Cocktails were also great. Highly recommend but cannot speak for other locations. Everyone in the family enjoyed themselves. And omg the chips and salsa!
Tried out this Meso Maya location with the family and was amazed. First I'd commend the waitress for being very helpful and friendly. Definitely assisted in the experience. The poblano queso was very good. Recommend blending some with the salsa they bring out with the chips. The arrechara plate was large and good, but the Seafood Poblano has some tremendous flavors. Got it to share, but ended up with it myself.
